Wall painting Dublin

Wall Painting in Dublin

Interior wall painting for homes and apartments, including surface preparation, colour and finish, for a single room or a full property.

About the service

A smooth wall starts with the prep, not the paint

Wall painting covers more than rolling on colour. Dublin Surface Works checks the surface for cracks, marks and old finishes, fills and sands where needed, and protects the room before any paint goes on.

01

Surface check

Walls are checked for cracks, damp marks, old wallpaper or uneven patches before any painting is agreed.

02

Preparation

Filling, sanding and priming are carried out where needed so the finish coats go on evenly.

03

Colour & finish

Matt, silk, eggshell or other finishes are confirmed to suit the room and how it's used.

Wall Painting: good to know

How many coats of paint do walls need?
Most walls need two coats for even coverage, though this can vary with the colour change and surface condition. This is confirmed in the quote.
Do you fill cracks and holes before painting?
Yes. Small cracks, nail holes and marks are filled and sanded as part of the preparation before painting.
Can you match an existing colour?
Yes, if you can provide the colour name, code or a sample. Otherwise we can help you choose a suitable match.
Do I need to empty the room first?
Smaller items are best cleared. For larger furniture, tell us what's in the room so we can plan how it's moved or protected.
Can wall painting be combined with flooring work?
Yes. We can quote painting and flooring together so the order of work and protection are planned as one job.
