Terms of Service

These terms cover website enquiries and general service conditions for Dublin Surface Works. The written quotation for a specific project, and any terms agreed in writing with the client, take precedence over this page where they differ.

Quotes & pricing

The written quotation identifies the agreed work, materials, price, exclusions and any details still to be confirmed before work begins. Prices are only guaranteed for the scope described in that quotation — work outside that scope, or issues found once a job is underway (for example subfloor damage), will be quoted separately before proceeding.

Payment

A deposit is required to book a job in, with the deposit amount confirmed in the written quotation. The balance is due on completion of the work, unless a different schedule is agreed in writing for a specific project.

Scheduling

Project dates and site-access arrangements are confirmed directly with the client ahead of the job. Any scheduling terms stated in the written quotation apply to that project.

Cancellations & rescheduling

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a booked job without charge. Cancellations or reschedules with less notice than that may forfeit the deposit or incur a call-out charge, to cover materials or time already committed to the job.

Workmanship and materials

Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion against defects arising from how the work was carried out. This covers issues caused by our installation or finishing, not damage from normal wear, misuse, water ingress unrelated to our work, or changes made by others after completion. Materials supplied by third-party manufacturers carry their own manufacturer warranty, separate from this workmanship guarantee.
